Designing
Student Experience
In this module, you'll collaborate with your Design Team to create a student experience using the current state, community voices, and inspiration as the foundation for your design.
Assessing Readiness
This module equips the Design Team with a clear assessment of their readiness for school redesign, highlighting strengths and areas for improvement to guide a successful transformation.
There are many ways to engage with these modules, but our recommended approach is outlined below. This worksheet can be a helpful tool when thinking about how to assemble your team.
Before Beginning
A member of the school leadership team gathers a School Design Team:
- 1-2 teachers
- Instructional coaches/other leaders responsible for training and coaching staff
- 1- 2 students
- 1 -2 parents or community members
Section 1:
Gear Up & Get Inspired
Gather the Design Team to learn together about the content in this section, perhaps displaying it on a screen while others follow along on their computers or on printouts.
Section 2:
Dive In & Try It Out
This is a great place to divide and conquer, assigning different activities to different team members.

Bring your team back together to share learning and generate solutions.
